Refrigeration rental equipment is serviced and maintained by Refrigeration Engineers as part of the refrigeration rental contract at no extra charge for ‘peace of mind’. Cold Hire can transport most refrigeration rentals items or arrange freight for a competitive price. Alternatively, clients are welcome to make their own transport arrangements.

 

 

 

Cold Hire was founded approximately 5 years ago by a local Refrigeration Engineer, specializing in rental refrigeration equipment.

 

The company changed ownership in late 2003 retaining its clientele and is now managed by Director, David Wright and his wife Bridget.

 

Cold Hire is committed to supplying high quality rental refrigeration products and is expanding its range to include Catering Equipment, Portable Air-conditioning as well as its range of Refrigerated Displays, Chiller Trailers and Walk In Rooms.

 

 

 

 

David Wright (BSc, Diploma of Teaching) began his working life as a Secondary School teacher. With 10 years experience in New Zealand and the UK under his belt, he made a radical career move into the world of business – taking on the Directorship of Cold Hire in 2003 and hasn’t looked back.

 

David’s previous experience has provided him with the organizational skills to meet the needs of clients to a high standard and within the timeframe given. Clients will find he is dedicated to providing a reliable and efficient service with comprehensive breakdown support – making their refrigeration Rental experience hassle free.

 

He finds time to enjoy family life, to travel and enjoys photography, motorcycles and the challenge of running a business.
